Goddess Warns Kansa

Vasudeva reached his friend, Nand's house in Gokul. He handed over Krishna to Nand and returned to the prison with Nand's baby girl. The guards woke up and heard her crying. They told King Kansa.
Kansa rushed to the cell and grabbed the baby from Devaki. "A girl will kill me?" he laughed. "Leave her. She's just a girl," pleaded Devaki. Kansa ignored her and tried to kill the baby girl. But she slipped from his hands and rose into the air! She transformed into a Goddess.
"Foolish Kansa!" she said. "Your enemy is already born and safe elsewhere. Your end is coming soon!"
Then she vanished. Kansa was filled with fear and anger. His plan had failed!

In Gokul, Putana found baby Krishna. Pretending to be kind, she asked to feed him, but her milk was poisoned!
