The Mighty Bhima Sets Off

Once upon a time in India, there was a strong and brave prince named Bhima. He was one of the five Pandava brothers and loved adventures more than anything!

One day, Bhima was walking through a thick forest in the Himalayas. The air was cool, and tall trees touched the sky. He had one mission: to find a magical flower called Saugandhika, which his wife, Draupadi, had wished for.

Bhima walked for hours, pushing aside trees with his strong arms. Birds chirped, monkeys chattered, and the forest rustled with secrets.

Suddenly, in the middle of the path, Bhima saw something strange…

The Tail That Blocked the Path

Right in front of him, lying peacefully, was a giant monkey’s tail! It was long and fluffy and covered the whole path.

Bhima shouted, “Hey! Move your tail, monkey! I am Bhima, the strongest warrior!”

From behind a rock, an old monkey raised his head. “Oh dear prince,” he said kindly, “I am too old and weak to move. You can try to move my tail if you like.”

Bhima laughed. He thought, “This will be easy!” He grabbed the tail and pulled… and pulled… but it wouldn’t move an inch! Bhima tried with all his strength, but the tail was too heavy!

He was shocked. “Who are you?” he asked the old monkey.

The monkey smiled, turning into his usual human form. “I am Hanuman, your elder brother. We are both sons of Lord Vayu, the God of Wind.”

A Brother’s Blessing

Bhima gasped. He had heard of his elder brother, Hanuman—the monkey hero who had helped Lord Rama defeat the demon king Ravana!

Hanuman stood up, and suddenly he grew taller and taller until he touched the sky! Bhima bowed in respect. “Please forgive me, big brother. I didn’t recognize you.”

Hanuman laughed kindly and hugged Bhima. “You are brave and strong, little brother. But remember—true strength also needs humility.”

He blessed Bhima with even more power and showed him the way to the magical flower.

Bhima smiled, thanked Hanuman, and continued his journey, his heart full of respect.

And from that day on, the Pandavas knew: when strength meets wisdom and love, true greatness begins.
