The Terrible Demons
Long ago, terrible demons were causing great suffering in the world. They hurt good people and seemed impossible to stop. The demons were so powerful that they made even the gods tremble.
One demon named Raktabija had a special power. Every time a drop of his blood fell to the ground, another demon would rise up to take his place!
The Birth of Kali
The gods knew they needed a powerful protector. They combined their energy to create Goddess Kali.
She emerged with fierce power - dark as the night, with eyes blazing like fire, wearing a garland of skulls, and holding powerful weapons.
"I will stop these demons and protect the good," she declared with a thunderous voice that shook the heavens.
The Great Battle
Kali fought the demons with incredible strength. When Raktabija's blood began to fall, creating more demons, Kali did something surprising.
She opened her huge mouth and caught every single drop of blood before it could touch the ground!
Raktabija couldn't multiply as before. He was defeated and killed. Kali's victory over the demon brought peace to the world again.
Wearing her garland of skulls and with her tongue out, Kali might have looked terrifying. But her purpose was to protect the good and destroy evil.
What We Learn
In the story, Goddess Kali found a loophole to disable the demon's seemingly invincible boon and saved the world from his terror. This teaches us that there is always a solution even when the problem seems insurmountable. We just need strong willpower and dedication to find a way.
