Listen to the Story
A long time ago, a great game was played in a royal hall. It wasn't a game of tag or hide-and-seek, but a game of dice involving gambles. This story is about a brave Queen named Draupadi and how she stood tall even when things felt very dark.

The Magic Dice and a Tricky Trap
Prince Duryodhana was jealous of his cousins, the Pandavas. He invited them to a game of dice, but he had a secret weapon: his uncle Shakuni. Shakuni had magic dice that always rolled whatever number he wanted. The eldest Pandava brother, Yudhishthira, kept losing. He lost his gold, his palace, and finally, he lost the freedom of his brothers and himself. In his last, saddest moment, he even lost Queen Draupadi. The room went silent. Everyone knew that playing a game with people's lives was wrong, but the magic dice had already done their damage.

The Question No One Could Answer
Duryodhana’s brother, Dushasana, was sent to bring Draupadi to the court. He was very unkind, but Draupadi didn't just cry; she used her sharp mind. She asked a very famous question that stumped all the wise elders: 'If the King lost himself first, did he still have the right to lose me?' This is a lesser-known part of the story—Draupadi wasn't just a victim; she was a legal genius. She challenged the kings to think about fairness. While most people stayed quiet, remember our friend Vikarna? He was the only one who stood up and said, 'She is right! This game is not fair!' Even though the others didn't listen, Draupadi’s bravery in speaking up for her rights showed everyone that she had the heart of a lioness.

The Miracle of the Never-Ending Robe
When the unkind princes tried to pull at Draupadi’s clothes to embarrass her, she realized that the people in the room couldn't help her. She closed her eyes and thought of her friend, Lord Krishna. Then, a miracle happened! As Duhshasana pulled the fabric of her sari, it didn't end. It was like a magical waterfall of silk! Blue, gold, green, and red fabric kept flowing and flowing. The pile of cloth grew so high that it filled the entire room. No matter how hard they pulled, they could never reach the end. Krishna’s protection was like an invisible shield, showing that goodness is stronger than any trick.

What We Learn
When you see something unfair, use your voice and your mind to speak up. Even in the darkest times, your inner strength and your faith can create miracles.
