One sunny day in the beautiful village of Vrindavan, little Krishna was playing with his friends. They were running around, laughing, and having so much fun! While his friends weren't looking, Krishna spotted some mud that looked really interesting.

"Hmm, I wonder what mud tastes like?" thought Krishna with a giggle. And guess what he did next? Yep! He scooped up a handful of mud and popped it right into his mouth! One of Krishna's friends saw what he did and ran to tell Krishna's mother, Yashoda.

"Auntie! Auntie!" the little boy called out, "Krishna is eating mud!"

Mother Yashoda was busy making butter, but when she heard this, she hurried outside to find her little boy. When she found Krishna, his cheeks were puffed out and his face was a bit dirty.

She put her hands on her hips and said, "Krishna! Did you eat mud? That's not food, my little one!"

Krishna shook his head and tried to say, "No, Mama, I didn't eat any mud!" But it was hard to talk with his mouth full!

Mother Yashoda wasn't fooled. She smiled and said, "Krishna, if you didn't eat mud, then open your mouth and show me."

When Krishna opened his mouth, Mother Yashoda couldn't believe her eyes! Instead of mud, she saw something totally amazing. Inside her little boy's mouth was THE ENTIRE UNIVERSE!

She saw all the planets spinning around, millions of stars twinkling, mountains, oceans, forests, and animals. She even saw herself standing there looking into Krishna's mouth! It was like everything that exists was right there inside her child's tiny mouth!

"Wh-what is this?" Mother Yashoda whispered. Her eyes grew wide, and she felt dizzy with amazement. For a moment, she remembered who Krishna really was – not just her naughty little boy, but the Supreme Lord who created everything!

Krishna saw that his mother was too surprised, so he used his special divine powers. He made Mother Yashoda forget what she had seen. In a blink, everything was normal again.

"See, Mama? No mud!" said Krishna with a cheeky smile. His mouth looked just like a regular little boy's mouth now.
