Krishna's Golden Mangoes
Listen to the Story
Did you know that Lord Krishna was once an innocent boy just like many of you? This is a really cool story about one of his most amazing childhood incidents!

The Kind Mango Seller
In the village of Vrindavan, a woman sold sweet, juicy mangoes at the market. Her mangoes were bright and smelled wonderful. Krishna saw a man buy mangoes from her in exchange for some grains. Excited to buy mangoes too, he rushed into his house to fetch grains. But by the time he approached her, most of the grains had slipped from his tiny hands, leaving a tiny scoop.

The Little Boy's Offer
"May I have some mangoes, please?" asked Krishna sweetly. "They look so yummy!" The woman looked at the little grains in his tiny hand and laughed.

A Magical Reward
The woman saw how much the boy wanted the mangoes. Instead of turning him away, she was moved by his innocence. She gave him many of her best mangoes for his small payment of grains.
As Krishna happily took the mangoes, something amazing happened! The grains in the woman's hand began to sparkle and change into gold coins and jewels!

What We Learn
When we are kind and generous to others, especially those who have little, wonderful things can happen. Just like the mango seller, our compassion can turn ordinary moments into special blessings.
